Jim O’Connor is an American actor and television host with a diverse career spanning film, television, and theater. In Hollywood, he has worked with two Academy Award winners—Julia Roberts in "Mystic Pizza" and Reese Witherspoon in "Sweet Home Alabama".
His television career includes roles in daytime soap operas, episodic series such as "Law & Order", and hosting "The Secret Life of…" for five seasons on Food Network, along with USA Live, which ran for over 250 episodes on USA Network.
A seasoned theater actor, Jim has worked with Tony Award-winning director Adrian Hall. He studied the Meisner technique at the University of Rhode Island and continued studying Method Acting under Gary Swanson, a first-generation student of Lee Strasberg and a lifetime member of the Actors Studio.
