Chris trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, Rose Bruford College and has an MA in Theatre and Performance Art. Since moving to Tokyo in 2004, he set up Black Stripe Theater company. His acting credits in !ilm and television include NHK Tokyo Strangers (2007), TOHO Studios Space Brothers (2011), Gundam: Fury NETFLIX (2023), NHK Kiso Eigo 2 & 3 (2011-2015), and NHK LABO Hamlet/Midsummer Night’s Dream (2015), The Reluctant Dragon (2017), Peter Rabbit (2019) and Treasure Island (2022) and others. He is also a theater actor and director who has worked in theatrical productions of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth and Julius Caesar. Chris teaches English, Culture and Public Speaking at Temple University Japan, Aoyama Gakuin University, Daito Bunka University, Shirayuri University and Aichi Sangyo University.
