Actor
Born in New York, but now a long time resident of Tokyo, he has performed in musicals, plays, improv shows, TV, and movies in Japan, China, Malaysia, the United States of America, the Philippines, and Canada. Stage credits include Arthur Miller’s ‘Death of a Salesman’, Sam Shepard’s ‘A Lie of the Mind’, Bernard Pomerance’s ‘The Elephant Man’, and ‘iSAMU’ directed by Amon Miyamoto. Bob’s screen acting credits in Japan include the Amazon Prime Video drama ‘MAGI: The Tensho Boys’ Embassy’, NHK’s ‘Kohaku Ga Umereta No Hi’, and Toho Studios ‘Last Recipe’ with Kazunari Ninomiya. He was also a regular character named Tommy on NHK’s Kiso Eigo 1 radio program and the voice of the snack Pocky for three years. In addition to performing, Bob has taught acting/improv at Temple University Japan Campus and given improvisation workshops to major corporations in Japan and even the US Embassy Tokyo.
Bob graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from the University of Dayton, USA.
